WATCH: Frantic elephants save a calf from drowning

Stunning footage has emerged of two elephants in a South Korean zoo racing to the rescue of a drowning calf.

The baby elephant was standing at the side of a large pool in an enclosure at the Grand Park Zoo in Seoul when it slipped and fell into the water.

An adult elephant races in to rescue the calf, with a second elephant rushing into the water to help.
