Lorde's highly anticipated new album Melodrama has already received high praise around the world only days after being released.

Rolling Stone magazine says it's "fantastically intimate" and gives it four stars

The Telegraph says the Kiwi is a breath of fresh air, before adorning the new addition with a five star crown.

"Melodrama deserves to be a blockbuster."

News.com.au said nothing else in the charts sounds like it at the moment, along with a four star tag, while USA Today said it's 2017's best pop album so far.

Tickets to the New Zealand leg of her Melodrama tour went on sale at midday on Monday, but sold out in just two minutes, according to the Ticketmaster website.

Scalpers are now re-selling tickets to the Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch shows for up to five times the price they originally sold for.
