'Please find her': The faces of those still missing in London tower inferno

Anxious friends and families of those feared trapped inside London’s Grenfell Tower inferno are launching social media appeals to help find their loved ones.

Twelve people have been confirmed dead in the apartment block fire, however police are yet to identify any of the victims, adding to the fear of those awaiting answers.

It’s feared three young sisters “Mirna”, “Fatima” and “Zainnb” - and two of their family members are among those killed in the blaze.

A local committee member for Lancaster West Estate said she had been informed that anyone past the 21st floor didn’t make it.

“We have a list of missing people there are so many, it's possible there are more than 50, possibly hundreds,” she said.

“But the tenant management organisation say it's likely many of those missing are in hospital and have just not checked in.”

The whereabouts of brothers Nurhuda and Yasin El-Wahabi also remains unknown, while 14-year-old Jeryll said he was still waiting on word from some of his classmates thought to be inside the 24-storey complex.


“There are a couple of girls missing who attended my school. One of the girl's sister, who is only eight years old, is still in the building,” he said.

Also unaccounted for is 57-year-old Saber Neda who is feared dead after the fire ripped through his top-floor flat. He was injured in the blaze and stayed back while his wife and son fled.

Francis Dean said his sister Zainab had been told by a firefighter to remain in her flat on the 14th floor along with her son Jeremiah and had not been heard from her since.

"He told her to keep calm and that they were coming to get her," he said.

"He kept saying that to her again and again.

"But then he handed me the phone and said to me 'Tell her you love her'. I knew then to fear the worst. The phone went dead and I couldn't talk to her."
