Grandma does keg stand at grandson's party

Muriel might just be the coolest grandma ever, earning the title after she did a "keg stand" at her grandson's graduation party.

The 79-year-old has always wanted to tick "doing a keg stand" off her bucket list and saw the party as the prime opportunity to do just that.

Her granddaughter, Madison Munoz, said several family members like Muriel came to Arlington, Texas, over the weekend for her younger brother's graduation from Mansfield High School.

Munoz had no idea just how serious her grandma was about doing the keg stand until Muriel had two legs in the air and was chugging the beer upside down.

She shared several photos from the party on Twitter of her grandma excited to take on the challenge.

"MY GRANDMA DID A KEG STAND AT MY BROTHER'S GRADUATION," she wrote in a Tweet.

The post has had 11,000 likes, sending Muriel into internet stardom.

Not only did Muriel get in on the action but so did her uncle.

The 20-year-old Texas A&M University student said her grandma has definitely always been "the fun one".

“The other night while watching the Warriors game, Steph hit a three and she said, ‘It's so lit dude’ and dabbed,” Munoz said.

“So she's a huge hit with everyone my age.”

Muriel has gone viral, with people calling her a GOAT - Greatest Of All Time.

"We explained what it meant and now she keeps saying 'I wanna be a GOAT'," Madison told Buzzfeed.

"Almost all of the replies [to the tweet] have been things like 'Me in 40 years' or 'She's the best grandma ever'."

The California woman, now an internet sensation, is back home and is enjoying her 15 minutes of fame.

“She thinks all of the attention is funny and is having a fun time with it,” Munoz said.

“She got an Uber from the airport yesterday and told us that she told the driver that she's famous now!"
