Mother of three children killed in fiery crash reveals daughter would be 18 today
Marina Pink, who was killed in a three-way crash on Monday, would have been 18 today, her mother has revealed in a heartbreaking post.
Two of Marina's six siblings, Jack, 19, and Destiny, 15, were also killed in the crash near Boggabilla in northwest NSW.
They were travelling home from a NSW fair when they were killed in a "split second" in a horrific crash between two trucks and a car in northern NSW.
The accident happened on the Newell Highway, about 30km south of Boggabilla, near the Queensland border, around 6am on Monday.
Jack Pink, 19, and his sisters Marina, 17, and Destiny, 15, were killed instantly when the fuel tanker, truck and four wheel drive collided.
It is believed they were travelling home to Brisbane after attending a show in Dubbo.
They're believed to be part of a family that works on the travelling show circuit.
It's understood the father was in a car behind them.
Marina's mother, Jaze, took to Facebook to wish her daughter a happy birthday.
She recalled the day she was born.
"Off to the hospital we go. We were there for not even 1 hour when Glenn called the mid wife" it's coming". Here she came fast as fast... Welcome to the world little one!"
Ms Pink described her daughter as her "exercise buddy, breakfast maker, canteen girl, office girl, head of staff, and bossy sister".
"I could never stop talking about you. I never will.
"Never leave my heart."
Today, Ms Pink asked everyone to have a drink for Marina, "at a GOOD bar".
"Today is my babies born day!"
"She if 18 Please go buy Marina Pink a drink in every GOOD bar of every town in every city.
"Party with your brother and sister drink with the gods poppa max and prickly pink and all of our loves."
NSW Police have launched an investigation into how the crash unfolded.
A GoFundMe page has also been set up for the family with over $70,000 raised at the time of this article.
