WATCH: Mercedes driver runs over security guard to get parking spot

While he may have lost the battle with a pushy Mercedes driver, a dedicated Chinese security guard can’t be accused of not putting his body on the line.

Parking spots in Shenzhen are now so competitive that apparently one driver was quite literally willing to run someone over for it.

In footage shared on Chinese social media, a security guard is seen refusing to let the driver of a luxurious Mercedes pass him.

Being nudged forward again and again, the security guard opts for a new technique of laying down directly in the car’s path.

If he wasn’t already aware of just how badly the driver wanted that parking space, he surely was when he found himself being driven over like road kill.

As the guard laid perfectly flat, possibly reassessing his career choices, the driver can be seen proudly moving towards his newly acquired parking space.

The guard was reportedly uninjured in the bizarre altercation.
