William Tyrrell image spotted on Schapelle Corby's bag

Schapelle Corby has used her the media circus surrounding her departure from Bali to draw attention to missing Australian boy William Tyrrell.

Corby was flanked by security, police and media as she left her Kuta home, where 7 News images showed her holding a handbag with an image of William Tyrrell on it.

It has been two years since the three-year-old wearing his Spider-Man outfit disappeared from his grandmother's house at Kendall in New South Wales on September 12, 2014.

Police believe he was abducted and earlier this year they offered a $1 million reward for any information that leads to his recovery.

William's family have made a heartbreaking appeal to those involved in his disappearance to give them closure.

Wearing sunglasses, a scarf around her head Corby got into a corrections vehicle accompanied by her sister Mercedes holding up her handbag, which appeared to have a picture of little William on it.

Their brother watched on from atop the high fence of the Kuta villa where she has been staying photographing the media while wearing a mask.

Armoured vehicles were waiting down the lane from where Corby has been living to escort her to corrections office in Denpasar.

She was later taken to the airport and is believed to have boarded a Virgin flight back to Ausralia at about 10.10pm local time.
