WATCH: Violent scenes at WA station as 17-year-old girl is arrested
A transit guard has been punched and a teenage girl arrested during a violent confrontation at a Western Australian train station.
Seven News understands the 17-year-old and her friend were pulled off a train following complaints about their behaviour on Saturday night.
Transit guards allege when they removed the girls at Rockingham train station they became aggressive and allegedly assaulted them.
Passengers at the station filmed after the girls were pulled from the train.
One of the girls can be heard screaming and at one point one of the male guards appears to have a girl in a headlock.
Witnesses said one of the girls hit her head during the confrontation with the guards.
Following this one of the girls can be seen face-down on the ground in handcuffs screaming with hair scattered across the platform.
“You’re hurting me,” she screams.
A bystander warns the guard might dislocate her shoulder.
Another scene from around a similar time shows the girl sitting upright next to a guard.
He tells her to shut up before he appears to drive his knee into her.
The Public Transport Authority said the incident will be reviewed by its internal affairs unit.
Part of that review process will involve judging whether the forced used by transit guards was reasonable.
The PTA also said it is likely the 17-year-old will face assault charges.
