'They almost killed him': Mum blasts hospital after taking son away
The mother of a disabled boy who was removed from a Queensland hospital has used Facebook to accuse the hospital of harming him.
Cini Walker and Marc Steven took their four-year-old son, Chase Walker-Steven, from Brisbane’s Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital on Thursday, leading to police issuing an Amber Alert.
Police found the trio in Newcastle on Friday afternoon.
Ms Walker said on Facebook the hospital had “100 per cent” harmed her child.
She had previously alleged vaccines were giving Chase seizures and had stopped vaccinating him at age two.
“They almost killed my child if I didn’t stop,” she said.
Ms Walker previously warned she would walk out with him if they refused to give him medicinal marijuana and at 12.30pm on Thursday she and Mr Steven did just that.
She said she believed her severely disabled son's condition was caused by vaccines and she feared hospital food would kill him because of his allergies.
Ms Walker posted a video on Facebook on January 18 in which she claimed the Department of Child Safety threatened to take their son unless they took him to hospital to be fed.
"I will be doing this and if they choose not to do it... I'll walk out of that hospital," she said.
"I don't care if child services have to get a court order to come get (him), at least I know I saved my child and I'll keep doing it, I will not stop."
Ms Walker posted on April 26 that vaccines caused him to develop "spastic, quadriplegic cerebral palsy and undiagnosed, uncontrolled epilepsy".
Police are speaking to the couple but it is unlikely they will face charges.
