Parents prank babysitter with note of bizarre rules and tips

Usually it’s the kids playing pranks on the poor babysitter, but this time in an unusual twist it was the actual parents who decided to pull a fast one.

Most mums and dads typically leave a short list of instructions for the person looking after their children, but this couple have left a long, detailed and rather unconventional 10-point plan for their kid’s caretaker.

Typically responsible babysitters aren’t actively encouraged to feed the kids sugar and allow them to mindlessly watch hours of tv, however that’s exactly what this carer was told to do.

The bizarre list then goes on to suggest the poor babysitter even give breastfeeding a go, with the helpful suggestion to look up YouTube for pointers.

The hilarious handwritten letter has was posted to Twitter and has since gone viral, being retweeted over 17,000 times.

As part of the post the horrified boyfriend of the babysitter wrote, “My girl went to go babysit and this is what the parents left her”.

The note also advised the babysitter against lending to neighbours any eggs or cigarettes.

The unassuming sitter was also instructed not to use the home phone “unless you feel like paying bills.”

While most parents would frown upon a sitter entertaining someone of the opposite sex, these parents were actively encouraging it.

“If you have any boys over, just make sure they have a dad/uncle/brother/friend that I can call later,” the note continued.

However possibly the final rule was the best.

“Do not believe ANYTHING the kids tell you,” the note ended.

The hilarious Tweet has left us wondering how the night ended up.

With parents like these, you’ve got to be a little concerned about the kids and their behaviour.
