Mehajer said nothing when asked how he'd explain his way around video evidence of him allegedly shutting the door on the reporter.

The controversial figure was also allegedly involved in an altercation with a taxi driver outside Sydney's Star Casino in April.

NSW Police alleged the incident involved an EFTPOS machine and mobile phone.

The taxi driver was not injured in the alleged altercation.
