'Cheating' partner outed in Facebook restaurant review

A woman has taken online restaurant reviewing to a whole new level, using Facebook to not only praise the venue she visited but also using it as an opportunity to shame her partner, who was allegedly cheating on her.

The woman, named Alison Chappell, reportedly reviewed an eatery in York in the UK named Sutlers on Facebook, saying it was: "Really nice bar, lots of atmosphere and good Sauvignon Blanc."

But the outing wasn't to turn out the way she had planned, when her partner's phone quickly changed the mood.

The woman added: "Unfortunately halfway through said wine my boyfriend's phone bleeped with a Tinder message which, of course, I wasn’t supposed to see."

"So our visit was cut short, and he consequently got dumped and we drove back to Leicester (very uncomfortable car journey as you can imagine)."

Ms Chappell reportedly said her partner's phone bleeped with a Tinder message during their outing.

In response to the Ms Chapell's recommendation and kind words the venue said they 'deplore' the actions of the man, who is not named in the review.

They also said she deserves better, according to the Metro.

Sutlers wrote: "If you’d mentioned this at the time we’d have defended your honour by challenging said scallywag to a duel or at the very least given him a shake of our heads and sent him on his way with a collective tsk tsk! and advice that a gentleman should always treat his fair maiden with the utmost respect."

Ms Chapell replied to the eatery saying she will pop in next time she is in the area and finish her drink.
