Toddler passed out in street from 'heroin overdose' with drug addict parents unconscious in house

An 18-month-old toddler has been found passed out on the street while her drug addict parents lay unconscious at home, according to reports.

It is understood the young child, Alonna Bolden, had ingested her parents’ heroin and was found not far from her residence in the US, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

Her parents, Brandy Estep and Jason Bolden, were reportedly arrested and face charges of child endangerment.

Upon discovery the unattended child was said to be blue in the face.

The toddler was also said to be having difficulty breathing when she was discovered on an Ohio pavement.

She was partly revived by heroin antidote, Narcan.

Toxicology test results to confirm the presence of heroin were pending, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

Horrified neighbours described the terror of what they witnessed occurring in their street ABC 6 reported.

Police were called to the confronting scene where the little girl had been discovered by a concerned neighbour.

The neighbour reportedly scooped her tiny body from the pavement and rushed her back into her home where the two parents were found laying unconscious on the kitchen floor.

According to FOX 28, the girl’s father then awoke and began frantically search for the drug.

He reportedly said he didn’t want to take his daughter to hospital for fear he might be jailed.

Police arrived at the apartment to see Bolden driving off in his vehicle after reportedly being convinced to take his child to the hospital when she began to turn blue.

According to other reports the girl’s 26-year-old mother remained unconscious on the kitchen floor.

Both parents could be sentenced to three years in jail.

The child was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit and is said to be in a serious but stable condition.

She is expected to be released to child services.
