It is alleged he deliberately struck pedestrians in the vicinity of Bourke and Queen streets about 1.30pm, police say in a statement on Friday.

Gargasoulas also faces a 29th attempted murder charge, a count of unlawful imprisonment and intentionally causing serious injury over two incidents in Windsor before the Bourke St alleged attacks.

Gargasoulas' younger brother Angelo was allegedly stabbed at a home in suburban Windsor in the hours before the Bourke St incident.

Police have spoken to hundreds of witnesses as they piece together the tragedy that devastated lunchtime crowds in one of Melbourne's busiest streets 10 weeks ago.

Police are also reviewing more than 70 videos and pictures that were uploaded on the force's website after the attack.

More than $1.2 million has been collected through various fundraisers for victims and their families.

Gargasoulas has been remanded to appear in court on December 15.
