Terms and Conditions


By entering the “7 News Eat Street Exclusive Preview Weekend Ticket Giveaway” (“the Competition”), you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

2.WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Brisbane, Queensland, 12 years of age and older, where the Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Northshore Street Food and Art Markets PTY LTD (t/as Eat Street Markets) and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences Monday 27 March 2017 at 18:00 AEST and concludes on Friday 31 March 2017 at 09:00 AEST (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, viewers must watch 7 News nightly at 6pm, during the competition period, and look out for the codeword. Viewers must then visit the 7 News Yahoo Home Page (7news.com.au/qld), and locate the “7 News Eat Street Exclusive Preview Weekend” banner. Upon clicking the banner, viewers will be redirected to an Eventbrite webpage, and be prompted to enter the codeword. Viewers must enter the correct and valid codeword according to the expiration time frame.
3.3 Each code word featured in 7 News nightly at 6pm during the competition period, will expire the following day at 09:00 AEST.

4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be a maximum number of 4 tickets available for any person who enters the competition, for any of the three (3) days of the Eat Street Exclusive Preview Weekend (Friday 31 April 2017 – Sunday 2 April 2017), (“Event”), per day of the Competition Period. Winners will receive the prize package detailed in clause 4.2.

TOTAL MAXIMUM PRIZE VALUE
12 tickets maximum per day of the Competition Period for any person who enters the competition, allocating a maximum of 2 x tickets maximum to each day of the Event.

Total maximum prize value for the prize is $30.00 (including GST). Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.3 The person who enters the competition will be prompted to enter their email address to receive their tickets.
4.4 In accepting the prize the winner agrees to participate in and co-operate with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, and the winner grants the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.5 The winner agrees they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Promoter’s requirements.
4.7 In the event that an element of the prize outlined in the above is not available for any reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with a similar product of equal or greater value, subject to state regulations.
4.8 Children of all ages require a ticket.
4.9 The winner must make contact with Erika Rutledge from Channel 7 Queensland Marketing Department on 0427 907 100 for specific instructions on how to collect prizing.
4.10 The prize is not exchangeable.
4.11 Once the prize is accepted, the winner must deal directly with the Promoter.
4.12 Full details of prizes can be obtained by telephoning Erika Rutledge from Channel 7 Queensland Marketing Department on 0427 907 100.
4.13 Entries that do not comply with any of the terms and conditions, may be deemed invalid.
4.14 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
4.15 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in accordance with these terms and conditions.
4.16 By accepting the prize the winner agrees to the below conditions of entry.

5. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

5.1 Eat Street Markets “7 News Eat Street Exclusive Preview Weekend” Event
The Ticket is issued by Northshore Street Food and Art Markets Pty Ltd of Queensland ABN 96 165 800 706 trading as Eat Street Markets (NSFAM). The Ticket is provided on the condition that the holder is bound by these terms and conditions. By using the Ticket you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions as well as any other conditions specified by NSFAM on its website or in it FAQ’s.
Entry to Eat Street Markets ”7 News Eat Street Exclusive Preview Weekend” (the Event) is subject to the following conditions. The term “Event” within these conditions includes reference to the area bounded by the perimeter fencing of the Markets. Northshore Street Food and Art Markets Pty Ltd (“Market Owners”) - reserve the right to refuse entry to or eject from the Markets, any person who does not comply with any of these conditions.

5.2 Acceptance of Risk and Limitation of Liability
Patrons entering the “Event” do so at their own risk. Patrons assume all risks associated with and incidental to the Markets, whether before, during or after the Markets (including property damage or loss and personal injury). The risks assumed by Patrons include any risks caused by Market Owners in ensuring compliance with the Conditions of Entry.
Patrons waive any claims for personal injury or death against Market Owners on behalf of Patrons and any accompanying minor.

5.3 Admission
Market Owners reserve the right to refuse admission to the “Event”, or remove any person for reasonable cause, without notice.
Persons under the age of 12 must be under the direct supervision of an adult at all times.

5.4 Alcohol and Drugs
a. The Market Owners have appointed a Licensee who has licensed the “Event” for the sale of alcohol. Patrons must not bring alcohol into the “Event”.
b. Alcohol must be consumed within the area of the “Event” (“the permitted area”). No alcohol is permitted to be taken off the Market site.
c. Any person wishing to drink alcohol at the “Event” may be required to provide a driver’s licence, current passport or proof of age card.
d. Any minor found drinking alcohol may, in the Licensee’s sole discretion, be refused entry to or ejected from the “Event”.
e. Any person supplying alcohol to a minor or any person deemed to be assisting or contributing to the supply of alcohol to a minor may, in the Licensee’s sole discretion, be refused entry to or ejected from the “Event”.
f. Any person who is deemed to be adversely affected by the consumption of alcohol may, in the Licensee’s sole discretion, be refused entry to or ejected from the “Event”.
g. Any person who is deemed to be adversely affected by the consumption of drugs may, in the Market Owners sole discretion, be refused entry to or ejected from the “Event”.

5.5 Animals
Patrons may bring pets to the “Event” as long as they are people friendly, on a short leash and able to be carried if the owner decides to enter heavily congested areas. Guide dogs also permitted. All Pets must be on a lead at all times, where applicable. Animals must be well behaved and kept under control at all times. Animals are not allowed to sit on furniture or jump onto tables. Animals must not be fed whilst on the property. No animals are permitted in any food preparation areas. Any animals showing signs of aggression will be removed from the property immediately. The Patron accompanying the animal will be liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by the dog at the “Event”. One animal per Patron.

5.6 Change of Activities
Market Owners reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute tenants, performing artists and amenities.

5.7 Weather
If it rains the “Event” will still go ahead as planned. Patrons should bring appropriate clothing for the prevailing conditions.

5.8 Footwear
Patrons must wear footwear while at the “Event”.

5.9 Hours of Operation
The hours of operation of the “Event” are Friday 31 March 2017 4pm to 10pm, Saturday 1 April 2017 4pm to 10pm and Sunday 2 April 2017 11am to 7pm. The Market Owners reserve the right to change these hours without notice. All Patrons must have departed the venue by the specific times stated.

5.10 Items Not Permitted
Patrons to the “Event” may not bring in food, alcohol, illegal drugs and controlled substances, weapons or other items deemed dangerous by Market Owners.
5.11 Offensive Behaviour
Patrons will not act in a manner that is inappropriate, offensive to others, or illegal. Market Owners reserve the right to refuse entry to or eject a person who conducts themselves in such a manner.

5.12 Recording, Transmission and Exhibition
a. Patrons agree not to record or transmit, or aid in recording or transmitting, any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the “Event” other than for private non-commercial purposes, without the permission of the Market Owners.

b. Patrons grant permission to Market Owners to use their name, image, likeness, or statements in any live or recorded audio, video, or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction made of, or at the “Event” without further authorisation from, or compensation to the Patron.

5.13 Searches
Patron’s belongings may be searched on entry to the “Event”, or during the “Event”. Patrons must consent to such searches. Patrons may be required to leave the “Event” if they refuse a request to have their belongings searched, and will not be refunded or otherwise compensated.

5.14 Smoking
Patrons may only smoke in a Designated Smoking Area that has signs indicating that smoking is permitted in that designated area.

6. NO LIABILITY

6.1 Seven Network (Operations) Limited and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3Seven Network (Operations) Limited and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during or after the competition period;
b)in the acceptance, participation or use of any element(s) of the prize;
c)as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected email;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person; or
e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited and its associated agencies and companies assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government legislation.
6.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
6.6 By using the Eventbrite webpage you are subject to Eventbrite Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

7.1 The Promoter is Seven West Media (ABN 65 052 845 262) of Level 2, 38-42 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont, NSW 2009.
7.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting your personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition, including for the purpose of identifying and notifying winners and understanding our audiences. Seven will otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with Seven’s Privacy Policy which is available on our website at http://www.sevenwestmedia.com.au/privacy-policies (and which contains information regarding how you can access your personal information, correct it and/ or make a complaint about our handling of your personal information). By providing your personal information below, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy. Without limiting the foregoing, Seven may disclose the entrant’s personal information to its related entities, business partners and external service providers for research and profiling purposes as well as other purposes reasonably related to the entrant’s relationship with Seven. In addition, by entering this competition, you consent to Seven using your personal information for the purpose of Seven and its related entities sending you information regarding programs, products and services available through them and/ or through their business partners, and to Seven from time to time sharing your personal information with carefully selected business partners for the purpose of them sending you such information directly.
