US teen kidnapped for 'sex trafficking' reunited with family after being missing for a month
There has been an emotional homecoming in the US as a teenager missing for over a month was reunited with her family.
Sarah Dunsey, from Utah, was last seen on January 15 at the MGM Grand hotel in Las Vegas reportedly during a trip with friends, according to her family.
The 17-year-old's family believed she was being held against her will and had become a victim of sex trafficking.
A touching video posted to the Facebook page 'Help Us Find Sarah Dunsey' shows the moment the missing teen was reunited with siblings.
The caption read: "Sibling love. It was an emotional reunion last night!
"Many people are curious about what happened and are anxious to hear more details.
"We will share a little bit more in the coming week. We appreciate your continued support and kindness."
Last week the teen's mother, Amie Ellis, made a public appeal for help to find her daughter with a video posted to YouTube.
In the video she claimed: "On January 15th our daughter Sarah Dunsey was abducted from Las Vegas, Nevada. She is being held against her will and Sarah is a victim of sex trafficking."
"This is my absolute worst nightmare."
In the appeal, the family claim the 17-year-old sent a text message before she disappeared which read, "If I die tonight it's a guy named..."
The family chose to withhold the name so they wouldn't hinder investigation, reports claim.
The Sun reports that the teenager was found in Venice, California and rescued on Friday by the FBI.
A message was posted to the Facebook page following the discovery: "We found our Sarah Bearah!!! Thank you all for sharing, getting Sarah's face out there, and helping us to find her.
"Thank you to the people that sent us the tips that found her."
Terri Dunsey, Sarah's stepmother, also posted a picture online after she was found.
She wrote:"Feels so amazing to hold this beautiful young lady in our arms again!! Thanks again to everyone XOXOXO"
Online reports claim authorities have not confirmed the circumstances surrounding the teen's disappearance.
The Sun reports the teen was allegedly found with two men, but police refuse to say if any arrests have been made.
