WATCH: Kind ice-skaters rescue moose trapped in ice
Two kind men have ice-skated to the rescue of a moose that was trapped in ice.
Footage of the rescue was shared on YouTube by Viktor Johannessen.
It shows the two men skating across a frozen lake when they notice the moose struggling to free itself.
One person holds the camera as the other approaches the animal and starts to chop around the surrounding ice with an axe.
The moose appears exhausted from its struggle to free itself from the ice.
The men continue to work at the ice, eventually making a path for the moose to climb to safety.
The animal eventually emerges apparently injury-free and trots off into the wild.
