'I will never see you again': Brisbane make up artist given days to live after battling cystic fibrosis

A Brisbane make up artist has shared an emotional farewell to her loved ones as she announced her difficult battle with cystic fibrosis is coming to an end.

Nardya Miller, 25, has only days to live after her body rejected a double lung transplant she received in 2014.

The brunette beauty made the heart-breaking decision to permanently close her business, Immaculate Makeup and Beauty, last Wednesday and followed the announcement with a post revealing she only had another week to live.

“Maybe I've known you my whole life, maybe I've known you for 10 years, maybe I've known you for only a short while, but in just over a week I will never know you again, I will never see your face again, I will never talk to you, touch you, hold you, ever again,” Ms Miller wrote on her Instagram page.

“But I will always love you, and the friendships we built, and the memories we made.

“Things do not always turn out how you plan in life, there are some really huge things that I will never have, places I'll never go and things I'll never live to see. But I'll be watching. Always. Smiling. Because I was here.

“I will never give up. As I never have. Now I'm just simply letting go.”

Ms Miller ended the post with a simple request:

“And please I beg you to live your life to absolute fullest. -N x.”

Ms Miller spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve in hospital with her fiancé, Liam Fitzgerald, by her side.

In a photo posted just before Christmas, she wrote that she weighed just 34kg as her body struggled to accept food.

“You weigh 34kg and you look like death, you can't eat because your body is shutting down and rejecting everything you invite inside, you are being fed through a NG tube and struggle through the pain of trying to breath day in, day out, your body is a skeleton and you can't hold yourself up for longer than 5 minutes, your bones ache and bruise on everything you touch without force,” she said, along side a photo of her in a hospital bed.

Ms Miller’s cousin, Tachae Douglas-Miller, started a GoFundMe page to raise money for Mr Fitzgerald to help him financially after his fiancé passes.

In five days, the $10,000 target was smashed with $15,275 raised.

On Sunday, Ms Miller uploaded a photo to Facebook with the message: ‘Don’t worry be :)’.
