'It's Raptor 13': NSW Police officer filmed refusing to share his name

A Sydney police officer was filmed dropping a motorcyclist’s license on the ground and declaring his name was "Raptor 13" during a heated standoff.

Gurkan Topal, 32, was allegedly pulled over in Parramatta for driving with an "unsafe" helmet, he told Daily Mail Australia.

Mr Topal filmed the encounter with the NSW Police officer who refused to tell him his identity when asked for his name.

Instead the officer was filmed saying his name was "Raptor 13".

“You’ve obviously done something dodgy with this, I’m going to look into this,” the police officer was heard telling Mr Topal while questioning him about his motorcycle and helmet.

The officer told Mr Topal he would require a tow truck.

This was when Mr Topal, a father of two demanded to know his real name.

“I need to know your name, by law, I want to know,” Mr Topal can be heard asking.

“I’ve got you on camera, I’ll end up finding out who you are."

When Mr Topal asked the officer for his driver's licence back, the officer dropped it at his feet.

The officer then offered an apology for doing so.
