CCTV shows man run over by train, escaping death or severe injury

Horrifying footage has surfaced of the moment a man jumps in front of a moving train in an apparent suicide attempt, however then emerges seemingly unscathed.

According to reports CCTV from a railway station in Thailand shows a man wearing a bright green t-shirt run quickly and jump onto the line merely seconds before the train pulls into the station.

Also captured on the vision is the moment of impact, which is difficult to view.

Many witnesses to the terrifying event have to turn away in horror, to traumatised to watch.

Due to the sheer force of the train it initially appears that the man should be killed instantly upon impact however after several seconds he can be seen jumping up and running off away from the crowds.

However according to local reports the CCTV, filmed from two different locations and may have been doctored.

Local media also reported that paramedics arrived shortly after the incident however couldn’t locate the man.

The man was reportedly later found by local police on a nearby road and identified as Wirachai Nisairam.

According to various reports he is a 23-year-old, unemployed man from eastern Thailand.

Local police had reportedly seen the man wandering around the area in the lead up to the horrific event.

He is said to have been suffering from depression.

Other local media outlets report he was taken to a hospital and was found to be uninjured aside from a small abrasion to his leg.

It is not known if he will face any charges.
