A Queensland youth worker's online rant about his city's growing youth crime problem has gone viral online.
With more than 65,000 followers, it's no surprise Ian Zaro's rant about theft in Townsville had a wide reach.
"First of all it ain't yours, second of all it ain't yours, what the hell is wrong with you!” he asks in the hilarious footage.
"It's Townsville, with all the youth crime that's been happening I just thought, hey I make funny videos why not get the message across by making something with a bit of humour in it?" Ian told 7 News.
In the satirical video Ian talks about young people stealing cars.
"All I'm saying is why you gotta steal, now I come into my front yard and look what I see, this car right here,” Ian says as part of the online rant.
Ian is a local youth worker but in his spare time he works as a comedian.
He hopes some of his thousands of young followers will watch his latest rant and learn a lesson.
"If you wanna have a house, if you wanna have a car go to school and get an education, get a job,” Ian continues in the footage.
"If I can send a message to all of them with just my videos, they'll see a serious side at the end but also know that I've still got my comedy side," he told 7 News.
Ian started gaining a following online in 2015, after one of his lip synching videos went viral.
"It went viral in America and then in Auckland, all up about 12 millions views and hundreds of thousands shares," Ian told 7 News.
Closer to home, he's now getting plenty of attention.
"Hey I didn't know you were in Townsville, I thought you were in Sydney,” a proud local commented on Ian's work.
So far the video has been viewed over 200,000 times.
