'I was worried it would snap at me!' Dog walker saves beached shark

A woman walking her dog along a beach in Victoria has helped rescue a shark she found stuck in shallow waters.

“It was pretty heavy because it was sort of stuck on the sand and as it got into deep water it would turn it’s head around and we were worried it might snap at us,” Ms Hunt told 7 News.

It took three attempts to drag the shark back into the water.

Blue sharks can grow up to 3m in length and are usually found in deeper waters.
