'Hit me then!': Woolworths customers clash while shopping for Christmas ham

Two brawlers squared up and hurled insults at each other over while shopping for Christmas ham in a Queensland Woolworths.

The men were filmed yelling profanities at each other in front of terrified shoppers who stood in silence and watched at the Woodridge, Logan store last week.

The pair appeared to know each other and accused each other of standing too close before mentioning a mutual acquaintance named Mitchell.

In the video, the two men squared up and one man yelled, "hit me then!" as the other attempted to claw him before he was pulled back by a woman.

The melee travels further down the aisle and a woman in white asked the man in the sweater: "What's Mitchell then?"

"I’m trying to pick some f*****g ham and you try say (sic) don’t stand next to me,” a man in orange yelled.

The same offender then asked the other to come to his house to settle the argument.

The other man instead tells him to go out the front of the store as the woman in white began swearing at him and pointing for him to leave.

One bystander is heard asking if they really needed anything from that aisle while the argument was taking place.

Fortunately the brawl simmered and the two men walk away from each other without a punch being thrown.
