In one photo it appears Harrouff has something stuck in his teeth.

Photos also show a bloodied knife, a pair of scissors, blood splatters inside the house and a Nike sneaker with blood on it found near the crime scene.

The shocking photos were released after court documents revealed Harrouff had spat out a chunk of flesh from his mouth while being interviewed by police.

He then allegedly told them it was “human”.

It’s alleged Harrouff told police: “Help me, I ate something bad,” before he spat out the piece of flesh.

The prosecution claimed he then asked officers to: “Shoot me now, I deserve to die”.

Police said they arrived at the crime scene to find the accused in his underwear making animal noises and biting John Stevens face.

A stun gun was used on Harrouff and he was eventually overpowered by a police dog.

Police reports claim the former college football player had acted strange before the attack.

His mother told police Harrouff claimed he had superpowers and was convinced there were demons in their home.

Blood was found all over the couple’s driveway and both victims were found dead at the scene, according to the crime scene report cited by The Sun.

The court heard on Wednesday Harrouff had no detectable hallucinogenic drugs in his system.

His lawyer told the court her client was mentally ill and that there was no evidence Harrouff was under the influence of bath salts or flakka the night of the double homicide.

Harrouff has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other charges.

If convicted he could face the death penalty.
