Woman under hospital arrest after allegedly ramming police car

A Melbourne woman is under arrest in hospital after ramming a police car in the city’s southeast last night.

Footage shows police officers arresting the 42-year-old woman at a service station on Peninsula Link at about 6:30pm Saturday.

Police allege the woman led them on a high speed pursuit from Rosebud and rammed a police car in on Boneo Road before driving her damaged vehicle into the service station where she was arrested.

The woman suffered minor injuries and is undergoing a medical assessment in hospital.
