The horrific moment teeth from a great white shark are removed from a surfer’s leg have been revealed.
32-year-old Matt Lee was mauled by the large predator at Ballina in NSW in July 2015.
He was left fighting for his life at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
Miraculously, a team of 20 surgeons managed to save both of Mr Lee’s legs.
More than a year on from the horrific attack, graphic images have emerged of the man’s injury.

It comes as the Seven Network documentary series Gold Coast Medical announce Mr Lee’s attack by the predator will be on the new show in the coming weeks.
Coverage of Mr Lee’s ordeal starts with a dramatic emergency call to report a surfer’s legs had been almost "ripped off" by a shark.
It shows Mr Lee flown from the beach to the hospital’s rooftop helipad after a lifesaving midair blood transfusion.
After examining the injuries, Dr Will Butcher said: "I’ve been here for six years on the Gold Coast and I’ve never seen anything like that".
Mr Lee spent two months undergoing operations before returning home to continue his rehabilitation at Ballina District Hospital.
Shark attacks have plagued northern NSW beaches since Mr Lee’s attack.
