'Swallowing mini nails': Stuntman eats live tarantula and it bites his tongue

A man chewed and swallowed a live tarantula but not before the arachnid carried out its final act of revenge and bit the man's tongue, causing him to bleed.

WARNING GRUESOME

The daring act was uploaded to YouTube by Junior Haha who claimed the spider's prickly legs became lodged onto his tongue for one week and made him feel as though he had swallowed mini nails.

Junior, whose real name is Nuruddin Muhammad, has previously filmed himself eating a scorpion, a chunk of glass, a cactus and the world's hottest pepper.

In the video, he pulled the live spider from a clear container, looked into its beady eyes and popped the arachnid into his mouth.

Junior's face screwed up as he bit into the tarantula's thorax, chewed its hairy legs and swallowed it.

"That's what I am talkin' bout b-----s," Junior said after bystanders suggested the cameraman get the stuntman some water.

Junior opened his mouth to prove the tarantula was eaten and moments later blood began to drip from the end of his tongue where the spider had carried out its final revenge act.

One day later, the stuntman said he still felt like he had "swallowed a bunch of mini nails” because the spider's prickly hairs had become stuck on his tongue.

Junior released an aftermath video a day after and in it stated that he was sweating profusely and felt like as though he "could die".

“I am like sweating, I really have to take a s--- and I have been talking funny,” he said.

“I really hope you guys enjoyed that s--- because I did until now."

Junior said his tongue was swollen from the bite but it has since healed.

A tarantula's venom is mildly poisonous and their hairs apparently do not cause any long-term damage.
