Man dies after daylight shooting at Melbourne shopping centre
A man has died after he was shot several times at a Melbourne shopping centre.
The man died in hospital overnight after the daylight shooting at Campbellfield Plaza just after 3.30pm on Monday.
The alleged shooter remains on the run after driving off in a red Holden Commodore.
Homicide detectives are investigating the death.
Police were told a man with a firearm approached the victim in the shopping centre carpark and fired a number of shots.

The man was taken to hospital in a critical condition, where he later died.
No one else was injured in the shooting.
