Home CCTV captures man dumping car of murder victim

A home security camera has captured the moment a man dumps the car of murdered Brisbane mother Sabrina Bremer.

Detectives say the vision is a breakthrough in the hunt to find the mother-of-two’s killer, who’s been on the run since the 34-year-old was reported missing by her daughter last Wednesday.

Ms Bremer’s burning body was found on the side of a dirt road near Tweed Heads in northern New South Wales the following day.

Residents on Dawson Street in Woodridge found Ms Bremer’s white Toyota, with one of the houses fitted with the crucial CCTV.

“It’s very strange to find that car here,” one neighbour said.

“Our street is a very quiet street.”

Detectives guarded the vehicle on Tuesday before forensic police took the car away for examination.

The vision shows a man walk around the car, take one last look in the passenger window and walk away.

Police are calling on anyone who recognises the man to come forward.

They’ve also released images of Ms Bremer from her last known location, the Logan Police Station, in a bid to jog the public’s memory.

Police arrested Ms Bremer on Monday after she failed to appear in court on a string of drugs charges.

She was taken to Logan Police Station where she was held for a few hours and left Monday evening.

She is believed to have called a man she lived with to tell him she was on her way home, but she never made it.

“We are conducting a number of inquiries, we’re looking at numerous persons across the board,” Supt Wayne Starling said.
