Millionaire questioned over Beaumont children also investigated over alleged child-sex offences overseas
EXCLUSIVE: A South Australian multi-millionaire, who was questioned over the disappearance of the Beaumont children, is also under investigation for alleged child sex offences overseas.
The man, who cannot be named, recently returned to Adelaide, leaving behind his lavish life in Cambodia.

He had been living in downtown Siem Reap, a haven for backpackers.
The former scout leader was previously jailed for sexually abusing an 11-year-old boy in the Adelaide suburb of Glengowrie in 1990.
Since his release 7 News understands he had been running a lady boy bar with his Cambodian partner.
He had also been renting out luxury apartments, a stones throw away from the party district.
In June the man arrived back in Adelaide.
Within weeks he found himself before major crime detectives, investigating the disappearance of Grant, Arna and Jane Beaumont in 1966.
It’s been 50 years since the children disappeared, Jane, who was nine, seven-year-old Arnna and four-year-old Grant Beaumont were reported missing on Australia Day after failing to return from a trip to Glenelg beach.
“Whether there is a link with the Beaumonts, I'm quite sure they will find out soon enough,” Stuart Mullins, the Co-Author of Satin Man, a book exposing the prime suspect in the case, told 7 News.
“They are absolutely focussed on if there was a link,” he said.
“He is a paedophile, he did live in Glenelg at the time and he did abuse children.”
However, police claim they were yet to uncover anything to implicate the man.
7 News believes the man had been living in Cambodia since 2008.
It’s believed he still owns properties in Siem Reap and in Burma.
It’s also understood he financed orphanages in both countries and that Cambodian police had interviewed several children who claim to have been abused.
