Queensland mother and baby son missing for two weeks

Queensland police have issued a desperate public plea for assistance in a bid to locate a missing mother and her five-month-old son.

Kirsty McDonald and her son went missing on July 16th in Far North Queensland.

The pair was last seen in Butler Street, Kuranda at around 6.30pm.

Kuranda is located approximately 30 kilometres north-west of Cairns.

McDonald is believed to be driving a grey Mazda 6, with Queensland registration 463LYM.

Police have expressed that they hold “concerns” for the safety of both the mother and her child citing that it’s out of character for her not to be in contact with her family.

She is described as Caucasian, approximately 155cms tall with a slim build and dark brown hair.
