Man shot multiple times after gunman opened fire into Sydney home
A young man was shot twice after a gunman opened fire into a suburban southwest Sydney home.
Shots were fired at a property in Francis Street at Fairfield about 5.30am on Tuesday.
A gunman, who is still on the loose, shot a number of bullets into the home, injuring a 26-year-old man who was shot in the leg and back.
He was reportedly going in and out of consciousness and has since been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Witness told 7 News they heard a woman "crying and screaming" after the shots rang out.
Police arrested a man who is not the shooter, but believed to be a relative of the victim.
More to come.
