Man's arm severed after becoming trapped under Sydney train
A man's arm was completely severed after he became trapped under a Sydney train on Tuesday night.
Police arrived at Warwick Farm train station about 11pm to find the man trapped under the train.
It took authorities more than one hour to rescue the 41-year-old.
He had tourniquet wrapped around his arm and was rushed to Liverpool hospital in a stable condition.
He will undergo surgery in an attempt to reattach his limb.
The driver of the train reportedly slowed down when he saw someone lying next to the tracks.
Police believe the man accidentally fell from the platform, but will be reviewing CCTV.
