'President Carrot' comment sparks retribution from bikie gang members

An emergency phone call made by a former bikie offers a rare insight into a violent bikie gang feud playing out in Adelaide's suburbs.

During the panicked phone call to authorities the ex-bikie can be heard pleading for assistance.

Halow Shamseddini made the calls to triple-0 from inside his home fearing for his life as former club mates are outside yelling abuse at him.

Loud bangs can be heard in the background as a terrified Shamseddini tells the operator: "they're smashing things into my house".

"They're bullets, bullets coming!" he also yells to the emergency operator during the tense conversation.

Outside the residence was new club sergeant-at-arms Daniel Tamas and fellow bikie Stefan Anagnostopoulos wielding a tyre lever, yelling abuse and setting the fence on fire.

Tamas and Anagnostopoulos were arrested at scene but they deny they acted on behalf of the gang.

It's believed they were charged with arson and damaging property for a criminal organisation.

The Supreme Court later heard the defendants allegedly poured petrol on a large iron fence surrounding the property at Mile End and tried to set it on fire until police arrived on the scene.

It’s understood that the attacks first began when Shamseddini left the notorious 'North Crew' bikie gang and then proceeded to insult the club boss on Facebook, calling him 'President Carrot'.

One of the comments posted to social media read: "Shame on you Mr President, President Carrot."

Shamseddini also taunted club members to shoot him via social media.

He has since told police he does fear reprisals from the gang however he won't help them with the on-going investigation.

Several days earlier his residence had been targeted when it was pelted with Molotov cocktails.

Shamseddini also claims his house has been attacked during a drive-by shooting, however no one was ever charged over the attacks.
