Young Gold Coast lawyer arrested again for allegedly breaching bail conditions

Embattled Gold Coast lawyer Brianna Ioannides has been arrested for the fifth time in eight months for allegedly breaching bail conditions by breaking a night curfew and failing to report to police on Monday night.

Ioannides, 26, is reportedly facing a string of drug charges after being caught up in a series of police raids that occurred in October, 2015.

The beleaguered lawyer was reportedly arrested late last month during a drug raid inside a luxury Broadbeach apartment.

The lawyer was reportedly among a group of bikini wearing females who has been accused of partying with alleged bikie Luke McNally.

Members of the Rapid Action Patrol (RAP) allegedly found drugs including ecstasy and crystal meth and also evidence of a drug lab during the raid reports News Corp.

McNally and Ioannides were granted bail late last month following their appearance at Southport Magistrates Court according to News Corp.

Reportedly Magistrate Joan White expressed concern for Ioannides and ordered her to enter rehab at the time.

Chris Hannay, lawyer for Ioannides, told the court she was visiting friends at the time of the bust and was simply in the “wrong place at the wrong time”.

Late last year McNally was charged following a raid on a sophisticated methylamphetamine lab in the Gold Coast hinterland, which unearthed a loaded 3D-printed hand gun.

McNally, allegedly a member of the Lone Wolves outlaw bikie gang, was arrested after a swoop on the Mudgeeraba property.

Detective Inspector Brendan Smith described the lab as one of the most elaborate he had seen.

Utensils and chemicals used to make ice were allegedly tucked away in bushland "hidey-holes", with glued-on bark used to conceal PVC pipes.

Officers also found a safe cemented in the ground at the back of the property.

CCTV cameras were set up around the house to track visitors.

"It was all very well camouflaged," Det Insp Smith told AAP.

"The most concerning part was that we found a loaded 3D gun in the bedroom ready to go."

Police say the 31-year-old owns a supplement shop franchise, which they believe might be used as a front to traffic drugs.

Ice, steroids and a bong were found at the acreage.

Three other people at home during the raids were questioned by police but released without charge.

Police say the size of the lab means it is likely multiple people were involved in its operation.
