On Sunday the fire was deemed ‘unpredictable and dangerous’ and authorities warned it was possible it could double in size.

More than 88,000 people have been evacuated, with more expected.

The cause of the blaze is unknown, however low humidity, dry conditions and strong winds have made it nearly impossible to control.
