Sister of teen who killed NSW Police employee was 'Islamic State recruiter'

It has been revealed the sister of a teen who killed a NSW Police employee, was an Islamic State recruiter.

Shadi Jabar Khalil Mohammad was killed in an airstrike in Syria in April 2016.

Her Sudanese husband, Abu Sa’ad al-Sudani, also known as ‘the beast of Islam’ was also killed.

The 21-year-old, also known as Umm Isa al Amirikiah, fled to Syria reportedly one day before her brother Farhad Jabar shot and killed Curtis Cheng outside the NSW Police headquarters in October 2015.

News Corp reports for the past seven months Shadi Jabar had used social media app Telegram to entice people to join the terrorist organisation.

Its reported Jabar had risen to senior ranks within the group.

After her death a Pentagon spokesman described the couple as ‘active in recruiting foreign fighters in efforts to inspire attacks against Western interests’.

On the day before the attack on Brussels airport, Jabar shared details of a Belgian recruiter.

She also reportedly later shared a post defending the airport massacre.

NewsCorp reports Jabar proudly shared photos on social media of what she claimed to be a suicide belt.

Along the post she declared her hopes to use it soon and sacrifice herself for Allah.
