'Jihotties' dating trend used to lure women to join ISIS

Islamic State are using rugged male terrorists known as ‘Jihotties’ to lure women into becoming their brides.

The twisted dating trend uses blogs describing romantic encounters between terrorists and women.

The campaign aimed to present the idea of ‘the perfect life’.

"After a few minutes I flipped my niqab. He looked at me, our eyes meet. I had palpitations that are faster than the speed of light," one woman wrote on the blog 'Bird of Jannah'.

The young men used in the high production blogs have been promised a beautiful bride true to the faith.

However according to analysts, it’s not all as it seems, in many cases the would-be-bride arrives in ISIL controlled territory and are placed in female-only dormitories for indoctrination.
They are then married of to a man they have not necessarily come to meet.

Its estimated more than 500 women from Western countries have been seduced by the idea of life in the caliphate.

Samra Kesinovic, a 17-year-old Austrian of Bosnian heritage, fled to Syria with friend Sabina Selimovic in 2014 saying ‘they wanted to die for Allah’.

The two were then used as ‘sexual presents’, an unnamed Tunisian woman who shared a house with Kesinovic revealed.

It’s believed Selimovic was killed during fighting in the ISIL stronghold of Raqqa.

Shortly after Kesinovic contacted her family saying she wanted to come home.

She has not been seen since, with the Tunisian woman claiming she was beaten to death with a hammer as punishment.
