Islamic extremists laugh gleefully at ISIS execution videos in documentary about British jihadists
Associates of wanted UK Islamic extremist Abu Rumaysah were filmed laughing with glee as they watched brutal ISIS executions in a documentary about the fugitive's world.
Londoners Mohammed Shamsuddin and Abu Haleema sat grinning in a restaurant as they watched an ISIS propaganda video of the gruesome killing of several men being shot in the head and drowned in a pool.
"The guy is foaming at his mouth, you know what I mean. Wow," says the unemployed Mr Shamsuddin.
"That's a HD quality bruv, 4k," notes Mr Haleema, a London bus driver.
The two men now run an Islamic extremist group in the UK once headed by Abu Rumaysah, the former jumping castle salesman who fled to the Middle East while on bail two years ago.
Rumaysah is thought to be the new voice of ISIS, proclaiming the downfall of Western society in recent propaganda videos released by the terror group. He has been dubbed "Jihadi Sid".
While his face is hidden beneath a balaclava, voice experts and security analysts believe Rumaysah is the replacement of "evaporated" former ISIS spokesman and British citizen "Jihadi John".
In a Channel 4 documentary about the 32-year-old Londoner's life, Rumaysah proclaims the impending end of UK democracy and the raising of the ISIS "black flag" of the British Isles.
"One day when the Shariah comes, you will see this black flag everywhere," he says in the documentary The Jihadis Next Door.
"If you look at the way that society is moving on right now, you can see that it's a very real, real possibility, the way Muslims are coming forward in this country."
Following his arrest and release on bail in 2014, Rumaysah fled the UK with his wife and four children before popping up again in the Middle East, announcing his arrival with a photo in which he brandished an AK47 in one hand, his infant child in the other.
Mr Haleema, who has since taken over operations of Rumaysah's organisation, spoke in the documentary of his sick dream to bring ISIS-style executions to the centre of England, with adulterers to be stoned in North London public square and homosexuals "chucked off high buildings".
He has gained notoriety in the UK for videos he hopes will "to brainwash people, to clean their brain of the filth of the kuffar (non-believers).
"And obviously if ISIS is calling to the same thing then that's just a coincidence."
Mr Haleema was banned from Twitter last year and his passport was confiscated for fear he too would flee to the Middle East.
