'Drunk' and aggressive man restrained on Qantas flight after abusing an air hostess
An allegedly drunk man was restrained by several passengers on a Qantas flight after being accused of throwing punches and abusing an air hostess.
Passenger Simon Bowen said the 45-year-old man became aggressive after flight attendants refused to give him alcohol while on the Perth to Sydney flight.

"Two fellas managed to stop him and get a hold of him because his arms were flailing around and he was hurling abuse at everybody," Mr Bowen said.
"You just had to do what you had to do really, to make sure the environment around was safe."
He said the man was handcuffed and restrained in a seat at the back of the plane until landing.

Mr Bowen, who guarded the man for the remainder of the journey, said several federal police officers boarded the flight upon landing and took the man into custody.
The Australian Federal Police confirmed officers responded to an incident involving a man who was "acting inappropriately towards airline staff".
The man was allowed to leave the airport in Sydney on Sunday pending further investigation.
Police inquiries into this matter are continuing and no charges have yet been laid.
Losing ones cool, whether through anger or inebriation, is never a dignified look and it's not the only time a passenger has been escorted off of a plane because of it.
