Lorde has taken the plunge, buying her first home.
The Kiwi star paid nearly $2.84 million for the villa on a quiet street on the border of Herne Bay, Ponsonby and Grey Lynn, the NZ Herald reports.
Lorde's house, which has been renovated, has four bedrooms and even has a heated swimming pool.
The Royals singer bought the 182sq m home, which sits on a 447sq m section, in August, the report says.
The Herald reports that real estate documents say the sale settled last month and the property is mortgage-free. It has a rateable value of $1.9 million.
Lorde has been living with her family in Devonport before purchasing the property.
The news of her purchase comes after a new report by Fitch ratings agency stated that New Zealand is the most expensive country in the world to buy property on a price to income basis.
