Little boy cries tears of joy when reunited with puppy
“Oh Kase, I missed you!” the child cries tears of joy, as the dog licks his face.
The boy's puppy had gone missing a month ago, but was found ‘right down the street from our house’, his mother Paula Williams posted on a local Lost and Found Pets Facebook page, in her city of Lubbock, Texas.
“A nice family had taken him in and kept him warm and fed!” she wrote.
The heartwarming moment the little boy is reunited with his four-legged mate is captured on video, which Ms Williams posted to the page, sharing the good news.
In the video, Ms Williams tells her son she has a surprise for him, while she records the reaction to follow.
The little boy stumbles to the car, where his buddy is waiting, and his mum tells him to take a look inside.
Stunned, stares at the dog while uttering his name in disfelief. “Kase?” he asks.
He bursts into tears of joy, giving the puppy a hug, as the dog licks his face, happy to be home.
The video has been viewed and shared by many, and received a number of comments from people touched by the footage.
