Adult actress Stoya accuses ex-boyfriend and fellow porn star James Deen of rape in damning tweets
The adult entertainment world has been rocked by allegations from well known porn actress Stoya that her ex-partner James Deen raped her in a series of damning tweets.
Stoya and James Deen were one of the most well known industry couples until last year when they quietly split.
In the wake of Stoya's tweets, two fellow porn stars Tori Lux and Ashley Fires have also gone public with similar allegations.
Stoya tweeted: “That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolizing the guy who raped you as a feminist. That thing sucks,”

“James Deen held me down and f***ed me while I said no, stop, used my safe word,” she added.
“I just can’t nod and smile when people bring him up anymore.”
Stoya, 29, has not commented on the allegations since she posted them, saying she would be “mostly offline till 17 Dec. For work.”
The allegations by Lux, 28, mirror the description in Stoya's tweets, telling the Daily Beast: "James Deen ruthlessly attacked and degraded me, leaving me with mental wounds that took years to heal."
Lux claims that in June 2011 Deen brutally beat and sexually assaulted her on a major porn set.
Fires said that Deen was the only adult entertainment star she would never work with telling the publication: "The reason I put him on my ‘no list’ was because he almost raped me."
Deen's sex column What Would James Deen Do on website The Frisky has been pulled for the time-being by editor Amelia McDonell-Parry.
Deen waited just 24 hours to post a series of tweets defending himself and his reputation in the wake of the allegations.
There have been some egregious claims made against me on social media

I want to assure my friends, fans and colleagues that these allegations are both false and defamatory

Deen has resigned as chairperson of the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee’s board of directors, reports NY Daily News.
The organization said in statement: “APAC recognizes the seriousness of the statements made by performers in the community and that they indicate a major conflict between a board member and other members of the organization."
