Activists climb onto Buckingham Palace roof in bizarre "I am Harry's Dad" protest
Police are currently trying to negotiate with activists who have climbed onto the roof of Buckingham Palace.
Fathers' rights campaigners scrambled onto the roof of the royal residence at around 4pm local time.
One of the protesters, Martin Matthew, spoke live with Sunrise and explained why they were on the roof.
"There are three of us, Bobby Smith and a third dad James Dennis. We simply parked a road away from Buckingham Palace and came walking down the road with a very long ladder, like three workmen. We put the ladder up against the wall and climbed onto the roof simple as that."
"There were plenty of armed policemen but they probably assumed that we were workmen."
The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are not at Buckingham Palace, say reports.
Scotland Yard were called to the scene at 4.28pm and confirmed the situation is ongoing.
Video posted by the group shows people carrying a ladder towards the building.
At least two of them made it to the top and can be seen holding a banner reading "I am Harry's Dad".
A third protestor tried but was stopped by security.
London's Metropolitan Police says they're dealing with the situation.
