St Kilda schoolgirl claims Nixon's 'tell-all' paints her as a 'temptress and prostitute'

Former AFL player agent Ricky Nixon will have to wait until Friday to find out if he can publish a tell-all book about his relationship with a teen, known as the St Kilda schoolgirl.

Lawyers for the now 22-year-old woman claim Nixon’s book trashes her reputation, by portraying her as a temptress.

The incident marked the beginning of the end for Nixon’s career, when he was caught with his pants down in a hotel room romp with then 17-year-old Kim Duthie.

Now he hopes to tell his side in the form of a book, but Duthie is fighting to stop publication of two of the chapters.

The court heard details of the story Nixon wished to tell, but the judge has suppressed it all.

Duthie’s lawyer claims Nixon seeks to portray her as ‘a temptress, wicked woman and seductress… and worse.. a prostitute’.

The court heard Duthie was 16 when she met Nixon and he exploited her infatuation with several footballers, including some that he managed.

Duthie sat in silence in court with her father beside her, while her lawyer described Nixon as vindictive, dishonest and delusional.

It was claimed parts of his book were ‘absurd’ and ‘ridiculous’.

Nixon’s lawyer hit back, insisting there was strong evidence Duthie was a ‘pathological liar’.

He claimed the book should be published as free speech and if Duthie didn’t like it she should ‘sue him for defamation’.

The verdict will be revealed on Friday.

If Nixon loses, he’s vowed to sue Duthie for loss of income.
