'Extreme artist' jumps out of hot air balloon with no parachute
A self-confessed 'extreme artist' has jumped out of a hot air balloon wearing nothing but a pair of shorts and face goggles.
The video featuring Antti Pendikainen, from Finland, has already been viewed over 100,000 times since appearing on YouTube 24 hours ago.
Looking like he is going to take part in a normal skydive the adrenaline junkie decides to shake things up and tells his friends filming he is going to do something crazy.
He says: "I woke up this morning and felt like I wasn't going to need my parachute, so f—k it," he says, throwing the parachute over the side into the clouds.
Another friend in the balloon says: "What the f—k, man?"
Pendikainen shouts: "I'm stupid and tough enough to do it without a parachute, I'm not going to need it."
The amazing video shows Pendikainen taking off his shirt and jumping into the sky wearing nothing but a pair of shorts and goggles.
He jumps off the balloon and his friends with parachutes follow him through the clouds.
As Pendikainen approaches the ground he joins another skydiver and is able to land safety.
At the end of the video Pendikainen describes the experience as 'cool' when asked to describe the special experience.
