River of hail sweeps through sizzling Arabian desert
A raging river of hail has flowed through the Arabian desert as unprecedented weather conditions hit the Middle East.
Icicles can be seen sweeping their way through the sizzling Saudi Arabian sand in a country more often known for it’s heated weather.

The extreme weather conditions have sparked an ‘apocalyptic’ discussion online among Christian evangelicals, some commenting that it may be ’signs of the end’.
"There was an ice storm in the desert. This surely is a sign that 'Hell freezes over’,” the Express commented.
