Chilling screams after terrifying hit-and-run
WARNING DISTRESSING CONTENT: Student's chilling screams can be heard as a teen is run over by a car near a US school, in a terrifying hit-and-run.
Shocking footage shows students as they run for their lives when a driver leaves the road and heads through an open gate, running over 14-year-old Breanna Hunter.
The car drives over the top of Breanna and does a loop around the oval before fleeing the scene.
The disturbing moment was captured on a mobile phone and posted to Twitter by user 'Bankroll'.
A Go Fund Me page has been created by Breanna's mother, Aurelia Hunter, who claimed her daughter suffered a crushed pelvis, fractured ribs, broken hip bones, broken leg and a liver that had been split in two.
Ms Hunter claims she knows exactly who ran her daughter over and told Fox 26 Houston that she's working with detectives to bring the person to justice.
"You will go to jail, and you will look us in the face, and you will have to answer to a higher judge and say you didn't even stop to apologise ... You just up and left,” the teenager's mother announced.
“I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. I don't care who did what.
"I wouldn't do that to a child.”
Police are currently hunting for the suspect.
