Truck driver tries to force car onto median strip
A truck driver has been captured cutting off an Australian dashcam owner and forcing him to turn onto a median strip.
The truck turns into the right lane and the dashcam car can be seen coming up on the left side of the truck, overtaking the large vehicle.
All seems normal until the truckie drives up the left hand side of the car, brakes and indicates to turn right.
The dangerous maneuver forces the driver toward a median strip before an exit lane appears where he turns onto in just in time.
The Visy driver reappears to the left side of the car, indicating to again turn right before the video stops.
People took to Facebook their conflicting thoughts on the ordeal, one user asked the simple question, "Why didn't the truck just go in behind the dash cam owner?"
Another asks whether or not "he give the truck enough braking distance?", claiming "there's probably a million reasons why the truck driver lost his s*** with the car driver."
The video was posted to Dash Cam Owners Australia after it was submitted by a man identified as Tony and has been viewed over 120,000 times.
Dash Cam Owners claimed to have "edited the footage", because "there wasn't any earlier confrontations" before the truck turned at the lights.
Yahoo7 spoke to Visy, the privately owned packaging and resource company, who have not yet commented on the incident, saying it was "under investigation".
