'You are already dead': The internet's desperate attempt to solve this creepy puzzle

A dark, hooded figure can be seen in front of a gloomy brick wall transmitting creepy coded messages, fascinating internet users who are desperately trying to solve the video's meaning.

The spine-chilling video contains a variety of messages including Morse code, numbers, an ear-piercing ringing followed by flashes of disturbing freeze frame images which are difficult to decode.

The video, which has only recently taken off, was posted online about five months ago after a man named Johny Krahbichler received a CD in the mail from Poland the Washington Post reports.

Mr Krahbichler claims he had no idea who sent it to him so he posted the video online in a desperate plea to decode the video and find out answers “This Creepy Puzzle Arrived In Our Mail,” the reddit post read.

The post has over 1000 comments and has drawn in internet tech experts across the globe all trying to decode the eerie messages and dissecting the disturbing flashes torture victims.

One Reddit user has a spectrogram of the audio that translated to “YOU ARE ALREADY DEAD.”

Another 'decoder' claims a binary code pops up which decodes to reading “You have 1 year or less”.

A Redditor from Poland claims the video is similar to another creepy indie videogame promotion posted to YouTube a few years ago called “Poradnik Uśmiechu” (“Smile Guide”)

Whereas some Reddit users assume the whole thing may have been created as a joke or a guerrilla-marketing campaign, while others claim the Morse code spells out “Kill the President”.

The video has over 200,000 views and can be found on YouTube with the title written in binary code “01101101 01110101 01100101 01110010 01110100 01100101”, translating to the spanish word “muerte”, meaning death.
